The Sabbara Salesjan set of Lazarus Tiles was salvaged during the renovation of the Teatru Salesjan in Sliema.
The reverse side of the tiles are stamped with Ghilardi & C Palermo, indicating that they were manufactured in Sicily. Prestigious projects whose developers had deeper pockets were often finished with terrazzo-style cement tiles purchased from Italy.
Still undergoing renovation and desperately in need of funding, €50 from every tile will be donated to the Teatru Salesjan.

Installation instructions
To hang your Lazarus Tile attach two small hooks 15cm apart.
If hanging on a stone wall, use a drill and plastic wall plugs with hooks to avoid damaging the stone.
If attaching to a gypsum wall use plasterboard plugs and hooks to ensure that the Lazarus Tile is securely hung.
